A rich resource.

IRCAM's OpenMusic software has been used by many composers. This book presents a variety of works and analyses based on the use of OpenMusic, so it's not a general text on making music with a computer. It assumes familiarity with the program and a reasonable amount of training in modern music composition. As such, the book's appeal may be limited, and its material is (obviously) most valuable to other users of OpenMusic. Given those conditions I highly recommend it. I'm currently waiting on the second volume. :)
